TUX is an Israeli community project aiming to return control of the internet to its users. We believe in privacy, transparency and digital freedom without commercial surveillance.
The community provides services such as secure email, private cloud and digital tools without advertising.
A hackspace is a physical or community space where people meet to learn, build and share knowledge in programming, cybersecurity, hardware and open source.
We are working on establishing the first hackspace in Jerusalem and are looking for a central location or financial support.
Examples of similar communities include the CCC in Germany and TAMI hackspaces in Tel Aviv promoting privacy and free technology.
